I am not currently working, studying or training, am I still eligible for government subsidies?
Yes, you are still eligible for up to 24 hours of CCB which equates to 2 full days of care. For more than 2 full days of care, you must pass the government's Work/Training/Study test. To be eligible for the 50% child care rebate, you must pass the Work/Training/Study test.
How is CCB and 50% Child Care Rebate paid?
CCB is paid directly to your child care provider which will therefore reduce your daily fees. Your 50% rebate will be paid to you directly every 3 months.
How much CCB will I receive?
CCB is means tested, based on your family income.
How is the 50% Child Care Rebate calculated?
The 50% Child Care rebate is calculated on your Out of Pocket expenses.
